Cheap chain with bad clasp

clasp on chain would not open, as if it was frozen. Finally got it opened to remove chain from medal. Loop on chain is too large to remove from medal. Tried to sllightly bend the loop to get it to slide through medal and the loop snapped. THe gift recipient still wanted to keep the medal so we had to purchase a better quality chain from a local jewelry store.

I recently lost my gold miraculous medal and wanted to replace it. This caught my eye as looking pretty, small but not too delicate, strong enough to wear everyday. Chain is probably good for younger, smaller person, but I need it to be 20" - 22" so it doesn't lay too high on my neck.
