A: This special option is a rich 10K white or yellow gold that is deeply
embedded into the top of your stone. You have the option of choosing a symbol
or a personal letter. TIP: Encrustings look best on dark stones.

Q. How big are the stones in the Boys' Genii bezel?
A: There are 12 diamonds in the bezel. Each diamond is 5pt [5/100 CT]
Q. How big are the stones in the Girls' Alecto bezel?
A: There are 10 diamonds in the bezel. Each diamond is 1.5pt [1.5/100 CT]
Q. May the girl's Horizon ring be ordered with the mascot name only on top?
A: No. The Girls' Horizon ring always contains the mascot name with "PRIDE" following.
Q. Why can't Petite and Minuet rings have a design beneath the stone or an encrusting?
A: The size of the stone is simply too small to view the details of the designs we offer.
Q. Are stone options other than what is listed on this website available on class rings?
A: No. Please refer to the ordering page to determine what is available for your choice of ring.
Q. Can I order a diamond / cubic zirconia panel without a stone?
A: No. All of our diamond / cubic zirconia tops are only available with stones.
Warranty
Q. What is the ArtCarved Lifetime Warranty
A: Your ArtCarved® class ring is designed and crafted to exacting quality standards.
ArtCarved® provides a full warranty for the life of your ring against any
imperfection in design, workmanship or materials. Any ring not meeting these
standards will be repaired or replaced with identical specifications without charge. Lost or broken premium stones and diamonds will be repalced at current market value.
In addition to this Full Lifetime Warranty, ArtCarved® class rings provides these special benefits for the life of your ring:
- Resizing will be performed without charge.
- Simulated stones that are defective or broken will be replaced without charge.
- Cleaning and refinishing will be performed without charge.
- Your class ring year date (should your graduation date change) will be changed without charge.
- Your may exchange your 10Kt, 14Kt or 18 Kt Gold ArtCarved® high school class ring for credit toward the price of a new ArtCarved® college ring at the time. The exchange amount will be gold salvage value based upon the price of gold at the time of your new purchase.
Joy Jewelers requires a $15 payment of a shipping and handling charge prior to processing your
repair or replacement. Rings returned that are damaged beyond repair may, at the discretion of
ArtCarved®, have to be remade. Your ArtCarved® class ring full lifetime warranty
is not valid if any work is performed on the ring outside our factory that goes beyond
our In-Store Repair Program. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
have other rights which vary state to state.
ArtCarved P.A.L.S. Replacement Agreement
ArtCarved's Protection Against Loss or Stolen (P.A.L.S.) Replacement Agreement
protects you against the loss, theft or damage of your class
ring. A P.A.L.S. agreement certificate will ship with your ring. Your ring is
then covered for three (3) years from the date it is shipped.
The P.A.L.S. agreement fee is $15.00 for non-gold rings, and $25.00 for gold rings. Updated August 15, 2009.
If your ring is lost, stolen or damaged, ArtCarved will replace the ring subject
to a processing charge ($30.00 non-gold rings, $45.00 Silver Select and gold rings)
based on the metal in which your ring was created. You are limited to a single replacement
of your original ring during the three year period. This agreement excludes premium
stones and diamonds. Premium stones and diamonds can be replaced at current market price.
Requirements for replacement: (1) The P.A.L.S. Certificate
(2) Original Receipt - with order number,
(3) Specs for replacement ring must be identical to original ring
(4) return ring if damaged.
The P.A.L.S. Replacement Agreement is provided through an insurance policy. Complete copy of terms and coverage provided upon request. Certain terms and conditions apply.
Q. What is the Gold Lance Warranty?
A: Gold Lance warrants our class rings to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Upon receipt of your class ring, the warranty covers both the ring and the simulated birthstone to be without defect for the life of the ring. The full lifetime warranty covers the following without charge:
- Repair defects in workmanship or materials.
- Replace with a comparable new ring of equal value if repairs cannot be made to defect in workmanship or materials.
- Replace damaged simulated birthstones. (Genuine stones are not covered.)
- Resize ring.
- Restore the original finish on your ring.
- Should your year of graduation change, your yeardate will be changed.
- Should you change high schools before your year of graduation, we will change the crest on your current ring or we will manufacture a ring appropriate to the design of your new high school.
For rings requiring full replacements, we will manufacture a new ring that is similar to the existing ring, as we cannot manufacture discontinued products on school names, which no longer exist. A fee may apply in the case of a remake.
The warranty is not valid if repair work was done on the ring outside of our factory. This warranty gives specific legal rights. You may have other rights that vary from state to state. The lifetime warranty is only available to the original ring owner.
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN WRITING, GOLD LANCE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF THE QUALITY OR MERCHANTABILITY OF ITS PRODUCTS OR THAT SUCH PRODUCTS WILL BE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE CUSTOMER MAY BUY THEM. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE HEREOF.
Q. What is the Automatic Ring Protection Plan?
A: Gold Lance will automatically protect your gold and SilverXT™ with platinum ring from loss or theft. If your ring is lost or stolen and the loss or theft is reported to Gold Lance within (4) years from the shipment date of your original order, Gold Lance will, for a reduced replacement fee, replace the ring with a ring of the same design or a similar design of comparable value to the lost or stolen ring (genuine stones and diamonds excluded, except Black Onyx and Mother of Pearl.)
Each ring may only be replaced once following original purchase. Upon reporting of the loss or theft and payment of a replacement fee, Gold Lance covers the remaining costs to produce a replacement for your lost or stolen ring. See your ring assurance card for details.

Q. How do I file a claim if my ring gets lost or stolen?
